About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Selenium, Python, PyTest, and CI/CD tools. This is an opportunity for someone who takes initiative, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is passionate about driving excellence in software quality. You will be a key pillar of our testing team, playing a crucial role in shaping our automation strategies and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium, Python, and PyTest.
• CI/CD Integration: Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless and continuous testing.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Take the lead in driving automation initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and advocate for best practices in test automation.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with development teams to understand requirements, design test plans, and identify potential risks early in the development process.
• Innovation & Improvement: Continuously explore and implement new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes.
• Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address issues that may affect the project’s success, and contribute to the overall stability and reliability of our products.
• Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in automation testing, with a strong background in Selenium, Python, and PyTest.
• CI/CD: Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), test-driven development (TDD), and behavior-driven development (BDD).
• Problem Solver: Ability to take initiative, solve complex problems, and make a significant impact on the project.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
